I think when SpringBoard is `up front` active, the acceleroometer is exclusive to it, so your idea would not work in this case.

I would like it to run similar to Waves or Screenshot, but I'm not sure how they get the floating buttons. Every time I get a different sized window, I wind up with what I described in the last post. And creating a daemon won't work, because I need the accelerometer.

SpringBoard feeds the accelerometer data into apps.

yeah, but based on all the facts laid out it doesnt logically seem possible without rewriting part of your app

you would need the shaker part to be the main thread, doing what it does best. the rest of the app with the touchlayer and control settings would have to spawn from within the shaker app...not sure

I will try to find some source code related to waves or sshot

works Great..only porblem is when i swipe up to make the volume higher..it sometimes pauses the song <_<

I was going to post the app tonight anyway, before I went out, but it looks like I am having ftp problems with my server. Hopefully everything will be well tomorrow and the app will be up then. Else, Monday.
