The Essential Guide for A Working Ipod 1.1.4

Hey everybody this is a guide for people that have problems with 1.1.4 and need help
No credits go for me this is just copy from every interesting thread


How To Jailbreak youre ipod:
The best way is using Ziphone and you can download it from here
http://download.ziphone.org/


After you need to install this programs in the same order that i put it:
BSD Subsystem 2.1
BSD Subsystem 2.0 Termfix
SUID Libfix
Community Sources
OpenSSH
Term-VT100
Boss Prefs
BossTool

XX Relocate Ringtones, Applications and Fonts using BossTool in the same order

Summerboard:
Add Source to Installer:
ipodtouchmaster.com/files/repo.xml
Install Summerboard
Install SummerBoard Fix (from SummerBoard Fix)
Reboot iPod

Iphone Apps:
You don't need to add any source because you already add ipodtouchmaster source so just install Iphone 1.1.4 Applications.

Customize:
Install 1.1.4 comaptibility patch from installer so you need to add this source
http://repo.ispazio.net to download this
Put this source to Installer:
http://ipodtouched.net/repo.xml
Search this package: Customize 1.1.3 (version 1.21 (custom2) and install.
Uninstall 1.1.4 comaptibility patch
Restart Ipod Touch.
Run Customize. It will take some minutes until it displays the menu section, be patient.


Now that you have installed all this i will put a list from some COOL APPS for the ipod:


Games:

Multimedia:
Mx Tube: Download videos from youtube

SIP-VoIP v1.2: You can call if you have a microphone you can get one from here:

MobileChat v2.23: Chat for ipod
working perfect without fixes

To this to work you need to install first the latest version of Jiggy Runtime

PROBLEMS:


If you having problems with Tap Tap Revolution you need to install TTR 1.1.3 FIXES from Tweaks 1.1.3.


If you having problems with Youtube you need to install YOUTUBE ACTIVATOR 1.1.4 from Tweaks 1.1.4.


If you having problems with the keyboard freezing do this:
The second you get onto the springboard open up a keyboard -- NOT in installer. Don't attempt to add a new source, it will more than likely crash. I opened up contacts and added a new contact and typed gibberish for 10 seconds or so, then cancelled out of the app by pressing cancel, not using the home button. I was surprised to find it didn't crash like it did when I had previously used the app after the "add source" freeze. Then open installer, update it and add some sources, hopefully with no problem.

if you are using mac try to install VmWare Fusion to let you use windows cause i really don't know how to run a command on cyberduck so if anybody knows how to just post it.


If you can't install BSD SUBSYSTEM and you need Open SSH for fixing Package Download Failed, add this source to installer (http://apptapp.saurik.com) and after install FAKE BSD SUBSYSTEM so it will let you install most of programs that need this.

theres only a Libraray folder

no media, media_sym, downlaods

i click the arrow to go back but juss all these random folders

Try WinScp maybe its different but what is exactly youre problem?

hey i have a problem whit customize it works but it dosent change anything i do and dosent see my bat pack, basicly i can acces the app but i dosent customize my ipod the things dosent change, and the ipodtouched repo dosent work i type it like 3 time perfect and can get it to work can any one pt the customize in some different repo please thanks

You need to either do a couple terminal commands or just add a Customize folder to the /private/var/root/Library/ and all the folders will show up and they will work just fine.

you can do add this source(http://repo.ispazio.net) and install inetservices that is already with the download plug-in

Hi,
I was wondering where do I load SUID Libfix from?

I can only find it in:
Installer > Install > Tweaks (1.1.3)

and it says Terminal Fix / SUID library fix for 1.1.3 only.

can i use it for 1.1.4 too?
