ive put linux on my shitty pc but drivers for my usb wireless adapter dont work are there andy adapters that work? for ubuntu or gos?

Anything with a Ralink or Prism2 chipset'll be fine

I'd go with Ralink since those are more recent.

Most Atheros or Broadcomm ones work too.

can i ask someone at like bestbuy which chipset they have
i know i can get mine to work but i have to do some ndis wrapper thing and i get confused

Usually, Ralink and Prism2 work right when Plugged in.

Here is a List of Wifi devices that work with Linux. (It says BackTrack but its Linux. BackTrack is a "Security Tool" based on Linux)

ive got a belkin 750 somthing
it somtimes shows a connect but i cant connect to it at all

umm ive been using gos which i heard was just another distro of ubuntu
i cant find my ubuntu cd so ill install gos and try

If I were you, I'd go with Ubuntu Hardy Heron (8.04)

gOS may be based off Google, but its really Crappy.

Its mainly an Internet OS.
