woo! linux on my mac, whats the best apps for it?

well, at the moment i have booted linux ubuntu 64 bit onto my mac using vmware fusion. but i havent a single clue on what apps are for linux. what are the best ones? thanks

idk. it feels more better having more than 1OS im triple booting atm. OSX/vista(dont ask me why) and now linux.
