I can't get it to open either. I set permissions (755) and rebooted the iphone. No luck.

You might want to move up to firmware 2.X like most of the rest of the world of the iPhone/iPod Touch.

I have no plan to upgrade to 2.x yet, maybe if I got enough time, currenly I am using cygwin-based tool chain which only supports 1.x, and upgarde toolchain to support 2.x is bit annoying to me.

Why the heck would you test this for 1.1.1 when most of the world is on either 1.1.4 or 2.x firmware? You could at least have mentioned that important fact in your initial page without waiting for guinea pigs to test this out.
